This privacy notice follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, if you are located in the EU, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

3. Data collected and purposes

3.1 Server logs

When you access our website, our hosting provider automatically records technical data (IP address, date/time, page requested, browser and operating system used). Purpose: technical operation, error analysis, abuse prevention. Legal basis: legitimate interest (FADP Art. 31 para. 2 lit. c / GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). Retention: up to 14 days.

3.2 Contact form and email

If you contact us via the contact form or by email at mail@jungmedien.ch, we process the data you provide (name, email, company, message) solely to handle your request. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures / legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b), (f)). Retention: until your request has been fully handled, subject to any statutory retention obligations.

3.3 Cookies

Our website uses strictly necessary cookies to ensure core functionality. These cookies contain no personal data and are deleted at the end of the session. We do not use third-party marketing or tracking cookies.

3.4 Analytics

We do not use any analytics or tracking tools.

3.5 Fonts

To ensure a consistent presentation we use the Newsreader, Hanken Grotesk and JetBrains Mono typefaces. These fonts are hosted on our own servers; no connection is made to Google servers.

4. Disclosure to third parties

Your data is not shared with third parties. Exceptions: processors that support us with the technical operation of the website — in particular our hosting provider {{HOSTER}}. Such processors are contractually bound to comply with data-protection requirements.

5. International data transfers

Should your data be transferred to countries outside Switzerland or the EU, this will only take place with appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses, adequacy decision). We currently transfer data to: {{HOSTER}}.

Please send any request to mail@jungmedien.ch. If you are located in the EU, you additionally have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC, edoeb.admin.ch) is competent.

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. Data is transmitted using TLS encryption.

We may update this privacy notice to reflect changes in the law or in our service. The version currently available on the website applies to your visit.
